"The Girls Pictures” is Mary Schilpp and Caryn Levy, two successful professional photographers, working in the area of magazine and advertising/corporate photography. Our clients include magazines such as Sports Illustrated, SI for kids, and ESPN the Magazine. On the corporate side, we have done work for Canon, Fuji, Marriott Hotels, NASDAQ-100, Nike, and the United States Tennis Association to name a few.

Our mission is to capture special moments in a fun and relaxed manner, making your active portrait session memorable not only for the wonderful images that are produced, but also for the fun you had.

MENTORING

Do you or your child have a keen interest in photography, but you need some guidance to take your skills to the next level? Our services in this area range from gently guiding a young child to explore their world through photography, photographic field trips and on location instruction, choosing the right camera for you or better understanding the camera you have now, setting up your “digital darkroom”, creating a system to organize and preserve your digital photos, creating a photo blog or web site, publishing your own photo book, archival printing, mounting and framing. The possibilities of tutoring topics are limited only by what you wish to achieve.

ACTION PORTRAITS

“The Girls Pictures” become your personal photographer for the game, the party, the afternoon – whatever event you wish to preserve. Working in a documentary style, we can cover “events” like your child's soccer game, or “a day in the life”. You might be surprised at how many special moments can be captured during a walk on the beach, a trip to the park, a tennis lesson, a visit to the driving range, or during a pick up basketball game at the neighborhood park. Our professional “know how” and professional equipment allow us to capture these moments and events, without intruding upon them.

PORTRAITS

Are you interested in a portraits? No problem. We photograph your child, family, pets, or a combination of. We offer a studio location, “environmental portraits” in your home – or “on location” portraits in your backyard, pool, a local park, or the beach. The possibilities are almost endless.
